Detailed structure and manufacturing materials

A standard joint assembly fabricated at the workshop consists of a corrugated flexible hose (bellow) and two flanges at both ends. This combination provides high pressure resistance while maintaining the flexibility required to absorb shocks.

• Flexible hose body: Made of standard 304 stainless steel, which can be upgraded to 316 stainless steel upon request to adapt to highly corrosive working environments. The stainless steel corrugations allow the hose to expand axially and bend slightly.
• Connecting flanges: Machined from stainless steel or galvanized carbon steel depending on the system design, complying with current popular flange standards such as JIS, DIN, BS, or ANSI, facilitating smooth connection with butterfly valves, gate valves, and pressure reducing valves.
• Braided mesh layer (if applicable): Closely hugs the outside of the flexible hose to reinforce high-pressure resistance for the entire equipment, preventing excessive expansion that could cause the hose to swell.

3. Flange bolt tightening procedure: During assembly, bolts must be tightened evenly in a cross pattern so that the clamping force is evenly distributed over the gasket, preventing fluid leakage.
